In 2019 the following case study was distributed to ECAT participants:
A 55 year old female presents a mild bleeding history with mucosa bleedings and epistaxis.
A mild anemia was observed during a haematological screen.
Because of a scheduled surgery it was decided to investigate for a possible hemorrhagic disorder.
Please, investigate for possible abnormal coagulation tests, including screening tests.
In the case there is an abnormality give a potential diagnosis for the patient mentioned above.
The sample used in this case study survey was from a patient with Von Willebrand Jürgens syndrome type I.
